The new version of Uffizi Touch® for iPad/iPhone/iPod touch is now available on the App Store!
You can discover every masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery in every detail on your device.
In the iPad version a new function “Visual Tour” has been added: while you’re admiring an artwork or one of its details, the “Visual Tour” suggests you other works related to the same themes (for example, “jewelry”, “landscape”); the proposed artworks and details change as you move on the image.
You can activate the function of the “Visual Tour” at the bottom left of the screen.
Selecting one of the suggested works, an animation takes you directly to the interesting details of the artwork.
The “Visual Tour”, as well as the high-resolution visualization, can be activated if you are connected to Wi-Fi or 3G. With Uffizi Touch® you can focus on the smallest details of an image with a resolution up to 140 Megapixels, the highest currently available.
The visualization has been optimized for Retina display: the entire collection of the Uffizi Gallery at a resolution never seen before!
All the information about the new halls and the location of the works have been updated.
