The 2016 edition of EVA Florence – Electronic Imaging & Visual Art, the forum organized by the Centre for the Communication and Media Integration of the University of Florence in collaboration with the Department of Information Engineering and Centrica, will take place on Wednesday May 11th and Thursday May 12th at Hotel Pierre in Florence.
The key aim of this Event is to provide a forum for the user, supplier and scientific research communities to meet and exchange experiences, ideas and plans. Participants receive up to date news on new EC and international arts computing & telecomms initiatives as well as on Projects in the visual arts field, in archaeology and history. Working Groups and new Projects are promoted.
Together with the startup VirtuItaly, Centrica will participate to the workshop “Strategic issues”on Wednesday May 11th at 15.30 (Room A), with a speech titled “Uffizi Virtual Experience. From Giotto to Caravaggio”, with the aim to introduce the project of cultural heritage valorization through the digital exhibition held from January 22nd to March 13th in Milan.
On Thursday May 12th from 10 AM to 5 PM, will follow an exhibition of the most recent technologies developed by Centrica and the future project of the company.
